Want a unique portrait of your beloved pet to display in your house and remember them by? Perhaps as a gift for someone else? Or just for fun? You’ve come to the right place. At Ōkami we care about creating quality portraits that you’ll love and can cherish. Our goal isn’t just to draw your pet but capture their unique character.

Dog, cat, hamster, fish, guinea pig, horse, turtle, parrot… I draw them all.

About the artist

I’m an illustrator and animal enthusiast. I combined my two passions into one to create my own webshop Ōkami (pronounced Ookami). The name of the webshop translates to “wolf” in Japanese because wolves are my favourite animals.

My goal is to create wonderful portraits of people’s pets that capture their character. I like to get to know the pet I’m drawing. Are they serious, cute, energetic or laid back? What are some of their quirks? That way I can put a little of your pet’s personality into the artwork.

I also offer products for animal lovers such as t-shirts, mugs, totes, stickers, and other accessories for you, a relative, or a friend to enjoy. The perfect gift for someone you care about who also loves animals.

How to order

Step 1: get in touch

To get started on your custom pet portrait, simply drop us an email. We can’t wait to chat with you in a 15-minute online meeting to go over your vision and give you a quote.

Step 2: tell us about your pet

If you’re ready to proceed, we’ll need to gather some information about your pet and a few reference photos. A small deposit is required at this stage.

Step 3: Design and drawing phase

We’ll then create a rough draft of the portrait, taking into account any feedback you have.

Step 4: Finished product

Once the portrait is complete, we’ll send you a watermarked copy for approval. You can then choose to receive your finished product as either a high-resolution digital file or a physical print on your preferred material.
